  • Advice on winter mowing please experts

    Im currently doing my RHS Level 2, but aside from that have a few small gardening work jobs every week. One is for a property company, who have asked me (and I have done) a quick mow on the main lawn to tidy it up - luckily before the snow came! My question I suppose is this - I put the mower on a high setting, and had previously given it an autumn feed a while ago, but is there anything else I should be thinking about when the commercial demands I mow when I would ordinarily not??     brilliant - I agree using 'old fashioned' products can be best. As of today I have a big thing of Jeyes I am going to give a go - couldn't find the other one unless online. Whenever I go to my local garden centre - they have everything except the one thing I need!! LOL. Will revert back here to report on the green creep! Will probably find your washing soda works best in the end.... Read more..

    I signed up to HHC Level 2 - glad to say they have done everything they promised to, everything comes really quick and the tutor is really helpful, speedy and understanding. I only wish my patchy application lived up to it! The free books I got with it also have provided some lovely reading. Best of luck. Read more..
