I'm not surprised you couldn't sleep Roundelder, I think most of us would be the same if we were under the threat of flooding. It's been raining on and off this morning so I got a bit wet walking Sasha and doing the shopping, and no doubt it will start raining again just as I get into town for my opticians appointment.

I get a small amount of condensation in my greenhouse which is heated to 10 degrees. Where the doors don't quite close together and a small hole where the electric lead runs in helps a bit with ventilation, I also have a couple of those little dehumidifier boxes in there which helps soak it up.

Hope you enjoy the mushrooms Eva, they were very quick in growing. Yes Miranda, it looks like we're in for quite a wet weekend with the majority of it falling over Saturday night and on Sunday with strong winds too. As far as I know, we haven't any plans for going out this weekend so will stay indoors in the dry.

The risotto should be a tasty one Richard. I saw the pictures on the lunchtime news too and hope the flood waters in Roundelder's area go down before the next lot comes down. It managed to stay dry until I was safely in the car on the way back from the opticians. As I'd thought, my eyesight has changed so I've now got a new pair of contact lenses on order and gave them my glasses back to have just the lenses in those changed rather than buying a brand new pair.

Good to see you back again Digger. I wish I'd known about that website before Richard, I could have got a whole pair of glasses for less than the £65 I paid out this morning just to change the lenses but I'll certainly bookmark it for future reference.

She's doing really well Digger, and is still looking a bit lopsided where her fur hasn't grown back to full length. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, we should be able to start going back over the park again

I was kicking myself Miranda, (and the air was blue too) but then I never even thought to look online before I went, that'll teach me... I can see Eva's pics, you need to click on where it says 'mushroom lab' to see all the photos and very good looking those mushrooms are.

Enjoy your casseroles BB and Richard I find the pizza dough done in the breadmaker makes enough for two thin crust pizzas or one thick crust one, if it's just myself and my son here, then I do the thick one and if OH is home, I do two thin ones and we eat the lot but we don't have anything else with it. Only another 199 posts left to the 1000 Richard

You would have been ok on the 0845 number Roundelder as those ones are the local call rate. It's been a number of years since I've had reason to complain to a major retailer and when I've done it, it's been in writing and usually resulted in a £10 shopping voucher. The sun is out here today and quite nippy out in the wind.

So £10 is still the going rate then as that's what I got from Sainsburys when I complained that their disposable nappies leaked. My son was only a few months old at the time and he's going to be a teenager in a couple of months. The most I got was £20 from the Co-op, that must have been about 15 years ago when I found a hard lump in a stone baked pizza and it turned out to be part of the oven the pizza was baked in!! Hope you don't get any floods BB, I saw some pictures on the tv yesterday
