I saw some pictures of the flooding, Roundelder and read that four bridges have collapsed. It sounds terrible. My grandfather used to live near Cockermouth, at Ennderdale Bridge, and I was wondering last night what it might be like there at the moment. Hope things lighten up soon!

Done a new blog I also use chicken stock in risotto - you and your family will enjoy that, Richard! Hmm, I do like a beef casserole, it's just right for this time of year. That's a useful website, Roundelder, thanks for telling us. I shall pass it on. I'm curious to know what happens with the Tesco website prices. I once got a £15 voucher when I found a deep fried fly in a bag of potato sticks, though the company insisted it was plastic - it wasn't, it was a fly - that was in about 1986 so they're not as generous as they used to be.
