    both my sister and I have contorted willow trees in our gardens 5 miles apart and both appear unwell with a lot of leaves turning brown and withering. Mine was pruned back hard in the early spring but quickly threw out a lot of new growth - too much really as it had to be thinned, and I wonder if that is the reason for mine not doing so well.     No photos unfortunately as flowers usually disappear when they are just buds. Those that do survive for a day or so appear shredded. So far I only have miniature daffs "in bloom" so will try slug pellets round the others and see what happens. Many thanks. Read more..
