    There is an alternative vegemite4me - big pots on the patio. I sucessfully grow food from swede to carrots to lettuce in pots on the patio. Its a lot less effort and the pots are higher up from the ground than a raised bed and more difficult for the slugs to scale to eat your crops. Read more..

    Apparantly there is also a brain worm which humans can get too called Taenia solium and cats and dogs can get it too. It lives in pork. Many humans think its a brain tumour thats causing limb paralysis but actually its a brain worm which is much easier to treat. Read more..

    Could you not dig up the patio and create a real soil bed? Patios are so anti wildlife friendly. If you had a real soil bed it would be so much easier with drainage etc. Read more..

    Many money tree plants go down hill from brown spots onwards. But overwatering is most likely the main cause as the soil should be bone dry before you water it each time. But you should also mist them or keep them in a humid tropical type environment. Read more..

    Cats totally ignore humans, so they will probably be back I clap my hands loudly if they go near my plants. Then they shoot off. Then come back an hour later demanding to be fed and looking all sheepish. Then they do it all again the next day! Read more..
