Hi A suggestion is that it may be something called 'White Druplet Disorder' - which can be caused by sunscald. It usually appears on the side of the fruit that is exposed to the sun. Even wind or very high temperatures can also start it off. To avoid this in future choose a spot that would be more suited for growing them.

Hi It's now a year since I planted my mini lemon tree 'Tipico Toscano'. So I am looking forward to next year when the fruits begin to appear. Although they can take up to 2-3 years before fruiting. Even though it's a mini tree the fruits will be full sized. You must feed it with special fruit tree fertilizer and in the winter I moved it into my greenhouse for winter protection. Imagine pouring a Gin and Tonic and reaching for your own home grown lemon!
