  Greetings, I am not an experienced gardener but I have these in my garden and know them as Shasta Daisies. I think they are a kind of Chrysanthemum. The brown leaves etc look just like what happens as the plant puts all its energy into flowering and if the conditions are wet/dry or too much one thing or another.   Apart from drowning, what is wrong with my pear tree ? I have scoured pictures of scab and other fungals to see if this is it - i think it is likeliest but am not sure. The leaves are lovely and shiny except they are turning black. There are no lesions, bumps, stickyness, spores,sootiness, etc its just they are turning black . Anyway I would be grateful for any help. At the moment I keep cutting off the affected parts but wonder if this will harm the tree ? Can I just leave it ? I dont think it will Read more..
