  I looked at the 'Which' report and decided to order their top recommendation for a cordless blower and not with the vac option due to it being the lightest. Had to cancel my order on finding the battery would only last 8 minutes and took about 45 minutes to recharge. I guess that is not much help.... Read more..

  Sorry I do not have a photo, any way I have no idea how to up load photos. Peacock spot is a disease a bit like black spot on roses, but it is peculiar to Olive trees. Read more..

  I have a load of chillies too so many I do not know what to do with them; any suggestions? they are small yellow and I guess will turn red eventually and extremely hot. Any recipes for pickles or some sort of preserve please would be most welcome. Read more..

  I have a beautiful olive tree which survived that really cold winter when the temperature dropped below 10 degrees, all the leaves fell off and I was sure it had died. The following spring and summer it came back even bigger and better than before. It had had peacock spot and the new leaves showed no sign of it. But now it has returned and leaves are falling daily.   Thank you Snark, I will try to find a a horticultural supplier who will help but I will also add loads of composted farm manure, or is horse/stable manure better both bought at my local garden shop. Read more..

  I have found a large (about the size of a big thumb nail) shiny green beetle which I think is a Japanese beetle in my garden. Is it rare? harmful? a pest? or a good thing to have in the garden? Any one know? I have also found in my greenhouse an orange multi shades kind of flying bug, if I could upload the photo I have taken it would help. Is it possible? Read more..
