    Thanks so much for all ur replies/help, greatly appreciated. Some of the smaller bushy style flowery plants definately look like the sort of thing I`d like. The heather and conifers also like nice. Also thanks for the recommendation on aubretia. These r exactly the type of plant I`v been searching for to cover a wall I have against my nieghbours house, which will hide the soil and hang down to cover the wall.....plus my fiance has been urging me to go for flowers in her favourite colour, purple!     Hi there, I just wondered if you`d have any advice at all on what sort of plants I cud plant on a newly made rockery I`m giving a go. I live on the East coast of Scotland, North of Aberdeen, and the rockery is on a east facing slight slope, so it gets the sun until around 3pm maybe. It`s made up of soil and chucky stones and I`ve placed large stones around a bit.
