We moved in a few months ago and the garden is very mature. We keep being surprised by shrubs and plants blooming since then. This particular shrub is at our door but I can't work out what it is. Here is a picture. Any help anyone can give would be really appreciated. And we are constantly looking forward to new suprises from the garden. Thanks.

Thanks lots for your help. I'll get onto that tomorrow. I was surprised when it flowered I just thought it was a variegated bush, but now that I know what to do with it I'm keen to see it at its best. I'll post another picture when it gets back to health. Thanks again MM. Happy gardening!

Hi guys. All my spring bulbs are arriving and have that warning "plant immediately" on them, you know the one. But it's 85 degrees in Oxford so is it too hot to put them in just now. Even in shade ground is v warm. Should i keep them in shade until next week when cooler. Any help gratefully received.
