    hi jaki7,you be better off training dog ,my 5 year old gsd can jump a 4 foot high fence no problem but i put a little picket fence about a foot high around my lawn and if he goes near it we tell him no ,when our neighbours saw us doing it they laughed and said thats not going to stop him ,it does, sometimes if path is blocked he hops onto lawn goes around obstacle and back onto path he knows not to go on lawn ,also we have had sitting and lying on lawn but then he gets up and goes to path he knows Read more..

    hi you could always make a rockery easy and effective ,with the boarder make sure its below the grass so the water can drain away from the grass this might help with drainage ,ff Read more..

    hi julie ,kidds did that i bet we put solar lights out last year the ones that change colour we had them one night our front garden faces walkways so only local people use them but kids are always up and down them ,we got four foot high walls gates so everybody can see in we only moved in last year and people always comment on how good it looks and what a difference we have made so i put bells on the gate so when someone opens gate they ring front garden is only 20foot long so we can hear it ring Read more..

    hi lellie,regarding the greenhouse the space i got for the greenhouse is limited and sloping so i went for the plastic popup type from wilkos not a full size greenhouse just enough to walkin and shelfs each side great bit of kit put a few blocks under the corners seems solid enough guy ropes and pegs supplied ok i got a gap but i got a greenhouse the cover is quite strong its got rope going through it 4 shelfs each side does the job only£32 now i paid £39 a few weeks ago i think the full size one Read more..

    hi guys, always been reading posts on idle chat few members have been getting mole soil from friends fields reckon it good stuff but been wondering if able to bag up a few bags on side of road legaly or not ,also reading a bit about moles no particular reason not got a problem have to have kango hammer to get through my soil but moles are quite territorial if you put soil from another feild on to say a garden with a mole problem would the mole think theres another mole in the garden and move on no Read more..

    thanks jeff feel an experiment coming on wont water the big un but the small ones maybe to young to flower as only about six to eight inches high and less than a year old infact i think about six months old , or will they flower at such a young age what do you think ,have to leave small one in front SE window anyway thanks ff Read more..

    cant do pictures give up on that worst site ever been on for uploading photos but anyway jade plant goes in most southeastly part of house to bring luck and money dont disbelieve you got to believe in it put your lottery ticket under it if given any foreign coins {bus driver get loads } place them by it as for speed of growing my mam and mam knows best told me to keep watering it never let it dry out i said all the books say is dont over water, since i always listen to mam i water but only with rain Read more..

    guess what i got a flower only one but its a flower well buds anyway cant upload picture give up on that ages ago what i have done different is water it with rain water only from rain butt and sky take it outside and leave it on path for a few hours new leaves everywhere on the plant, in porch at other times dry plenty of daylight no excess heat, cold at night everything what the hedge folk say a big thanks to all ,i got about 6 more jade plants growing from leaves good size now .going to try bonzai Read more..
