  Hello horticulturalists, recently an associate of mine informed me that Aberdeen won Britain in Bloom so many times that they were banned from taking part in it. I declared him a cretin and claimed this was nonsense to which he replied by showing me the wikipedia articles [1] and [2]. They both cite a reference to a local newspaper but the links contain no relevant information.
