Hi, I am a very novice gardener, having just bought a house with a garden but before that living for 15 years in flats. I have this plant in my garden that I'm thinking of moving/getting rid of as its in an awkward spot. A friend thought it was Japanese Knotweed, which I know is very difficult to get rid of, but when i looked it up in the RHS gardening book it didn't look the same.
