It's been a lovely sunny, if somewhat chilly day here. I transplanted some french beans, weeded all the beds potted up some dahlia tubers and tomorrow I'm going to earth up the potatoes. Mr Tabs has spent most of the day sitting on top of the greenhouse, playing "I'm the king of the castle", and watching me. It's a hard life being a cat!!!

Snow in May Clematis, I do hope that the grass survives. Here's me complaining because it is very chilly outside in the wind despite the sun, Just to make things more annoying the house windows are moaning as the wind blows over them, even though the problem was supposedly fixed. At least it looks good outside.

Good morning everyone. The forums are going to be here until the end of May according to the email that I got from the RHS. The weather here cannot decide if it should be sunny or not, so it is overcast with the sun peeping through now and again. I agree with you Phot's-Moll about GW. I was watching to see if a trip to that show would be a good place for my school friends and me to visit when we meet up next year, but I never got a clear idea about the size of the show and what's there. I don't know how many plants you would need, but I can confirm that branches will put roots if they are left in contact with the soil . I've tried air layering but without success.

We had rain in the air all day today. Nothing that you could see falling but the ground was wet. So I spent the day working in the bathroom removing some tiles and then replacing them. When the adhesive is dry I'll grout them. And then paint the woodwork. But I have a feeling that may wait until another wet day. I hope that we have a better day tomorrow . I have to take my car for her first MOT tomorrow. She was serviced in March so there should be no problems. Fingers crossed anyway. I'll

It has been a glorious day so far. I heard about strong winds in the south of England but there has been nothing here so far. I know technically that I live in East Anglia but the weather doesn't know that and we often get the same weather as those South of the Thames. The car passed her MOT with no problems. However I was woken up by Mr Tabs, looked at the clock and read the time as 8.30. After the initial panic I realised that it was actually 5.40. So I nodded off until the four alarm clocks

Hello Clematis and Sue and anyone else who is around, Fortunately I do not suffer from flatulence, LOL!, however I was in the garden for half an hour before the windy blasts arrived, and I was forced inside. The wind got so strong that it blew out a polypropylene panel from the glasshouse. Luckily I caught it and put it into the greenhouse until the wind drops and I can put it back. Hopefully that will be tomorrow. We haven't had any rain as yet! Someone called at the house today offer to clean
