I've grown both Borage and Comfrey and whilst I know what to do with Comfrey inasmuch as to make a liquid fertiliser, I believe the same can be done with Borage as its not good for eating. Can the two be mixed in the same bucket when make the liquid or is it bes to keep them in seperate buckets?

Good Afternoon I have a Gerbera which is show a whiteish, greyish powerdery stuff on some of its leaves, its also making the affected leaves brittle. This has happened before but I couldn't find the problem so took off the leaves which have no grown back and showing the same syptoms. The plant itself is situated on the kitchen window sill so could this be the problem. All advice and suggestions greatly appreciated. Pete

Good Afternoon This is the first year I've attempted to grow anything other than flowers and so far the successes far outweigh the failures. As I grow everthing in pots and other containers my question is, can I reuse the compost or does it have to be gotten rid of and to where? I have no garden, its all slate and gravel, an mycompost bin (dalek type) will only take so much. Pete
