  Poor Fruit Setting I decided to raise-bed garden in the northeast corner of Pennsylvania, USA. my planting beds were to be large (2 @ 30’ long X 5’ wide X 16“ deep). So since there is no native soil here, ZERO, I decided to “Create” soil. I mixed 1/3 rotted leaves + 1/3 horse manure + 1/3 sandy loam. I allowed this to rot for a year, then transplanted some seedlings I had started from seed. I also planted vegetable seeds directly in to the soil mix. MY PROBLEM ?
