Thats just not true, they have not risen much at all since the Industrial revolution. The Climate has become colder during the second halve of the last 100 years. The major rise in temperature from 1900 to 2000 was before the industrial era. It was not that long ago that science feared the next ice age, then it was warming to rapidly. Now it's just changing. Time will tell who is right on this matter. Man made problems or just the fluctuation of a climate that has always changed. One thing is

I stand corected on my figures, however my arguement still stands with yours. Plants consume more than human produce.

And because climate is changing does not mean that mankind is responsible. We have been on a cooling kick recently. The climate will continue to fluctuate whether we are here or not. But I can't change your mind about this, and I don't care too.

"CO2" poison........ A third major study of CO 2 effects on seed production in trees has been conducted at the FACE facility near Rhinelander, Wisconsin (USA), where young paper birch ( Betula papyrifera Marsh.) seedlings were planted in 1997 and have been growing since 1998 in open-top chambers maintained at atmospheric CO 2 concentrations of either 360 or 560 ppm, as well as at atmospheric ozone (O 3 ) concentrations of either ambient or 1.5 times ambient. There, Darbah et al . (2007

"CO2" poison........ Seeds (Trees) -- Summary .. --> Article Subheading --> How does enriching the air with carbon dioxide impact the reproductive capacity of trees? LaDeau and Clark (2001) addressed this question in a major way when they determined the reproductive response of loblolly pine trees to atmospheric CO 2 enrichment at Duke Forest in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, USA, where in August of 1996 three 30-m-diameter FACE rings began to enrich the air around the 13

Thats a bit sexist. Anyhoo, I am a Landscape designer and gardener in Nothern United States, and to me gardening is a way to make a living doing something productive and fun. I love entering a baren plot of land and chaging it into someones dreams. It is a place of relaxation and joy. For my own garden I use an informal design, kind of controled chaos. As soon as I am out with my plants the stresses of life fade away. It's a place where I am in control (to an extent) and I can make a difference

Yikes, good luck, unfortunetly that stuff can be a beast to get rid of. I have been places where that is growing along side Lily of The Valley. At least the tops come off rather easily on Mares tail. (but it will always be back). My advise is just to take care not to spread it all over the place. Don't transplant from that area to other parts of your garden.

There is a machine that has a pulsing blade. The blade goes under the sod and lifts up grass in pieces. Also there is a sod cutter tool, however, I have found that a sharp flat shovel at a 15 degree angle works just as well as anything else. It's hard work which ever method you choose. Good exercise though.

Climate change is something that has been going on thoughout the history of the planet. It will continue to happen. However the amount of Carbon emmissions that man kind put into the atmosphere is miniscule in comparison to the amount that is already present. we produce 26.4GTs of carbon per year. There is 7,500GTs of carbon in the atmosphere. Plants consume 220GTs per year. If more is produced, plant life increases. Carbon also weighs more than air, which makes it impossible to be collecting in
