Unfortunately, sometimes sparrows nip off the flowers but perhaps those fiery buds will put them off.
Thanks Nerinist, interesting. I have to say that when I looked at Mark's varieties in the trial at Wisley they were not looking as good as some of the others. But it's only their first season and assessment hasn't even started yet.

You're absolutely right Barrie, but so far the only other image available is a staged one which is actually misleading! When I find one of the full plant, I'll post it here.

They're amazing, aren't they. Who'd have thought coreopsis would come this far. All it takes is one dedicated plant breeder.
