My Garden » Dawn Isaac
I am an RHS Chelsea medal-winning garden designer with a speciaity in designing family, school and pre-school gardens.
When not designing, I also write on my favourite topics - garden design and children's gardening - as well as trying to pass on a love of gardening to my own three children - Ava, Oscar and Archie.
My first book, Garden Crafts for Children, was published in 2012 and for the last three years I have also served as the horticultural adviser on the award-winning Cbeebies show, Mr Bloom’s Nursery. If you haven't seen it, you should. There are singing aubergines.
These are comments that Dawn Isaac has left on blog posts and gallery photos.
Thank you Catherine!
SPB - A great upcycling idea! And, yes, particularly useful with the larger tyres.
Thomas - I thought ours had had it too but more because it was swamped in blackfly and looking dreadful. However, it's amazing how a late but flourishing ladybird population can make such a difference. Sadly, I'm not sure a ladybird is an appropriate predator for wood pigeons!
It must be something deep in the psyche, the desire to reach a vantage point, a place to defend ourselves.... or maybe because it's brilliant fun to run down them screaming (always the screaming!)
