I've seen a really nice metal planter that would look great in my garden. It has 1 drainage hole in the base. Should I line the planter with plastic (making a hole to match the drainage hole) or will it be ok to plant directly into the planter? Thank you for any help.

Metal containers should not need lining, if there is only one hole in the bottom I would be inclined to punch a few more holes for drainage unless you intend to put in plants that like a boggy site.
