Hello this is my first message but I am looking for help or advice. I have a climbing hydrangea in a pot which has been doing very well for the past couple of years it is approx 4ft, but all of a sudden this week it has started wilting and the leaves are going brown. Please help??

I expect the answer lies in the soil. Check the roots to see if they have gone dark and brittle - if so, disease or water-logging has struck. Unfortunately I doubt the hydrangea will survive. Repotting every other year with fresh compost, ideally a loam based John Innes type, usually keeps drainage sharp and disease at bay.
