    Grew some a few years ago and brought them in each Autumn. Eventually left them out and they survived (in a pot) but last year planted them out! Lo and behold they did well this year and although flopped a bit so flowering spikes spread out it really looks good! However how hardy is it? Also can it be split? IF it survives this Winter intend to grow with some of my Salvia patens (the intense blue) BUT will they survive or is what I saw a 'swan-song)? Yes I will get some more seeds but have you managed to divide them? Did try cuttings but stems were hollow so although stayed alive they eventually joined the compost heap! How often do they produce basal shoots in your experience? Cheers!
