Over wintering dahlias

    I have some small ones in pots, can I just bring the pots into greenhouse , or potting shed, or do I need to dig them up and dry them etc. They are only this years plants so I don't imagine it will be worth dividing them at all yet - I got them from the supermarket and they were probably grown from seed. Not the end of the world if they don't survive but I would like to try and keep them going if I can.

    You can overwinter them in the pots as long as you let them dry out.
