    Can anyone please advise me the best time to plant spring bulbs in pots ready for next year.

    I randomly got the Sept RHS e-newsletter today and it said most can go in Sept & Oct, Tulips not till November. You can probably access the newsletter on here some where - it was full of bits and bobs so maybe worth subscribing.
