I've  been corresponding since last year with Ali Mollanazar,  a student on one of the RHS Certificate courses that we run online - over this time he's sent me many pictures of his garden, developing them into a photo-essay about his garden and his philosophy of life; He's eager to exchange views with other horticulturists, and until he developed them into a web page  I couldn't find an easy way of sharing this outside our virtual classroom with other students on the course. Now that he has a page at

    sites.google.com/site/vanaalpinerockgarden/

I've offered to put a link to it here  - I hope some of the RHS online community will enjoy this very different style of garden and perhaps leave him some comments and chat in this thread ( I don't think he's got a 'contact' link on the site yet).

I'll try to upload a sample picture elsewhere, but it really is worth looking  - he's a very keen gardener who thinks deeply about life and his garden!
