This Rose has been in our Garden since we moved in. I wanted to find out what sort it is as I know nothing about roses and understand depending on type it may need pruning differently (Maybe)? name this rose by chrispestaille, on Flickr Many Thanks for your help

I don't know what sort it is but I think you only deadhead Roses in July/August (cut off the expired flower heads). The only exception is Rambling Roses which you prune in August. Shrub and Bush Roses you prune in Spring, about March (I believe). I think it would help people if you gave us height details and a picture of the whole plant, including the stem to the ground. This way people might be able to identify what category of Rose it is at the least. Ad
