does anyone have any opinions or experience of using this product? im reading mixed reviews on various sites on the net but am becoming convinced that it will eventually rot the roots of anything(bog plants excluded!)that is planted in it! would love to hear some feedback if anyone has any! )

Hmmm. might have to avoid that one. There is some truly awful compost around at the moment. Everything I had in Cherry Lane peat free compost rotted off this winter even in dry old Suffolk and with frost protection.Whatever happened to compost which you could use out of the bag without adding grit.bark, vermiculite etc and which had adequate nutrient levels, had been properly sieved and had the right level of wetting agents. How many new gardeners are put off by the rubbish which is sold as compost and finish up buying expensive plants and miss out on the fun of growing from seed?
For the Snark was a boojum you see
