Best Sunflowers For Cutting?

  Reply | Contact Hi all, Please could anybody kindly advise on the best sunflowers to grow as cut flowers? Ideally I'm seeking a variety, or varieties, which isn't too tall (they'll be growing in an open, fairly windy spot); I'd also like to be able to cut more than one flower per plant, if possible, though that's not essential. There seems to be a mind-boggling range on the market and I don't know where to start, so any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks a lot, Annelise.

  morven Location: glasgow Joined on: 03 Jan 2012 Posts: 7	Reply | Contact  Hi, I can't claim to be an expert but I did enjoy growing a red one called moulin rouge I think, and it produced many more than one flower per plant.  I picked them and brought them in. - lovely :)
