Hi everyone, wish we had your sunshine Sue, we've had some monsoon-like showers off and on all day!
I just went out inbetween showers to check Lillyrose, one of the dahlia's you sent has 8 buds and the other has 6 so far, but I think mine are well behind yours, so hope more will appear - they are getting quite tall and bushy though Crikey, don't mention paint on paws That's the last thing you need all over the floors! Well done for sticking to your guns re the walking Sue was right about the humanist service, the accent is on a 'celebration' of someones life, talking about happy memories (usually supplied by the immediate family) of the person, they include a few minutes silence for people if they want to pray to whatever they believe in.
I don't blame Cheryl about the sighing whilst ironing Richard, it's the one chore I absolutely hate, thankfully my mam actually enjoys it!
New guests safely ensconced in the lodge, so am off to rustle up some dinner. I've got cauliflowers coming out of my ears, (no pun intended!) I've decided to blanch and freeze them in florettes, to use up as and when. Sounds mean, but I am loathe to just give them away
Hope you are OK too Eva We miss your darkly, sparkly humour
