Hi, Has anybody ever heard of a miniature Oak tree? I planted an Oak between 10 and 15 years ago and it is still just over 5ft high. All of the other self sown trees are double that and more. Is this a new type of Oak?

    Welcome tinainkent.

Is your oak tree planted in the ground?

Yes, there are dwarf oak trees. I know of one called Quercus robur Menhir. However, yours may be nothing like this one.

First you would need to identify which species of oak you have. Your one may be a completely new cultivar.

    Thankyou Silversurfer,

I have looked at your link. It is not narrow as the plant shown. It is as wide as tall, and yes, it is planted in the ground. I will try and upload a picture.
