rampant Helexine

The previous owner of our house planted some Helexine (mind your own business) in one corner of our garden and it is now appearing in various other areas. Weeding it out doesn't work as it's like duckweeed and even a tiny bit grows and its too easy to drop some somewhere and start another clump. Now its in the lawn! Suggestions desperately needed. I do think that garden centres should put a health warning on things like this
