I have three fuchsia Delta Sara in tubs which are now out growing their tubs, I am about to empty my annuals out of the larger tubs i have. What I need to know is now the right time to repot or should I wait until the first frost when the leaves fall?

Hi Geoff. Delta's Sarah is a lovely hardy fuchsia  If they were my fuchsias I would either leave them where they are, if they are in large pots, or move them into a cold greenhouse if the pots are of manageable size. I would not cut them back until the spring and then repot them around February/March  in some fresh compost. When they start to sprout next spring I would also take some cuttings for growing on (maybe attempt to make a standard, or half standard one as they have lovely straight stems!Smile
