Hi again...Just to let anyone know, who is interested, there is a group on Facebook...."RHS Level 2 Study Buddies." I have just joined but it could do with a lot more people, I'm sure!
I think it would make it so much easier, I'm sure, if there were more students on there to support each other...and I'm only on Module 1!

Have been thinking about doing this course for a while now but not sure the best way to do it as no time to go to college as working - are you doing yours as a distance learning course at home? If so who are you doing it with? Would you recommend? Thanks

Hi Mandy,
Yes..I am doing it as a distance learning course with a Diploma in Garden Design alongside! I think I was a bit over-enthusiastic to attempt both at the same time so I have postponed the Garden Design for a few months until I get this Level 2 underway.
I am only at the first module, Mandy, so finding it a bit of trial and error at the moment as far as assignments go. I didn't know anyone who had done the course previously but have now "met" a few people on here who are doing so...thankfully!
I did quite a bit of research before purchasing the course from Learning Curve. I read a lot of reviews on the internet..I know you have to take all that with a pinch of salt! However, they were the most efficient in responding to queries etc and I opted for them...time will tell! So far, so good...they have been prompt in returning emails etc.
I hope this helps!

Hi Mandy, I am with Learning Curve too and agree with Isobel. I have just started out but so far so good. Whoever you opt for l would recommend the additional books that are available to help you through it namely the Red Book 'A Handbook For Horticultural Students' by Peter Dawson. I have found my tutor to be very helpful particularly as as l have had to extend the time l need in order to complete the course. That was due to me building an extension on my house which has taken the best part of a year! Good luck anyway and hopefully see you with us soon.
