I agree with you, Silver surfer. If someone wants a lot of plant IDs then it helps to group the pictures together and only ask for a few at a time. After all, it's a human community who is being asked, not an electronic database. Saying that, there are many people here who are willing to help and who will spend their time finding answers, for no other reason than they like to help.

Could I make a suggestion please AlisonM - which is if you are willing to help with the identification of Chris's plants, that the suggestions are put on this thread so other users can see which ones have been identified and which ones haven't.

Have I understood correctly Alison...
Quote from your web site.....
"Remote support is charged at the standard hourly rate and, as with all Gardening by Design work, the time and deliverables (documents, plans etc. that I will send to you) are agreed up front."
You are prepared to help Chris id the pics for a standard hourly fee.?
On the RHS id forums we also do that FOC!

Hmm, reckon Chris would be better off getting his IDs for free. Unless he really want to pay...

All
Please be aware that I did not wish to upset anyone in posting all my pictures online at the same time. I simply set the site up in order to assist myself. I left the link because I felt it would be more efficient than posting individual shots. If people don't wish to visit the site and comment that is fine by me. I am not 'expecting' anyone to help, but I am obviously grateful if anyone can, as has already been the case.
I recognise that everyone here is donating of their time freely and for the 'good of the community' and I appreciate that. I am simply appealing to those who can and are able to help me out.
I am already delighted with the way that so many have already been able to identify individual plants and it is impressive that multiple shots of the plants have been spotted, that gives me confidence that you all know what you are doing and I assure you there was no intent to make things difficult by doing s, quite the opposite I felt it might help.
For those who have helped, again thank you.
Chris

#19 looks like Cotinus coggygria or smoke bush.

All
I have now named those that have been suggested so that you can see those that have been suggested and to aide me so that I can further check them against the RHS Book of "Plants & Flowers" and "Gardening" I just purchased!
Again, thank you all.

46 could be a variegated weigela florida, if it has pale pink or white trumpet shaped flowers in the spring.

2. and 3. Incorrectly labelled.
Only 1. is the Bay tree.
2. and 3. are the willow leaf pear.
As is 34. I missed listing it yesterday!
