    Hi Everyone,

Welcome back to the new school year!

I've just volunteered to get my daughter's infants school onto the Benchmark Scheme. we've just got Level1 sorted, and we're about to get going with a Sensory Garden in the courtyard garden (it has laid unused for several years).

Are there any schools near us (Yateley, Hampshire) which we could visit to see what they have achieved?

I'm also running a gardening club and would like to link up with another school's gardening club if possible too.

    Hello there,

I was interested to read your query as I was thinking about contacting my local school to see if they need any help with gardening projects - what is the benchmark scheme?

Check out the following link about sensory gardens - you have to scroll down to the article on sensory gardens  http://www.thrive.org.uk/links.aspx

    Good luck
