Isn't it a bit early to be anticipating winter storage?!  I just bring in my plants over winter into the porch, which is just about warm enough to keep them going.

Sorry to be a nuisance. it is early but I'm trying to build up a kind of folder on what should be done when and how. I'm not a natural gardener and I'm terrible for forgetting things. My Uncle used to take care of my begonias for me. He gave them to me when they were ready to go out and took them away when they began to look sorry for themselves. ......He sadly passed away earlier this year so I am determined to keep them alive in his memory.

Not a nuisance! I was just curious.  And I'm not being very helpful about your begonias!  Sorry to hear about your uncle, but it is nice to keep things like that.  I have a rose that was my grandmother's.
