    Hi all,

I have three bags of potatos growing - huge bushy plants all flowering (lilac flowers) and have now discovered they are also growing bunches of green berry/fruit type things.  Like small green tomatoes but very hard.

    Is this usual?

Should I remove them or leave them to grow?

Have not seen these before so concerned all the effort may be going into these fruit rather than my spuds!!

Thanks in advance for any advice

    Zoe

The berries are usual, Zoe; they're poisonous, though. You can remove them to stop the plant putting energy into seed production rather than tubers.
