I need to plant a friends garden with Rabbit friendly plants - as she has two cute bunnies ! All I seem to find is rabbit proof plants (so possibly toxic to bunnies !) or a list of herbs etc that bunnies like to eat. I need some plants that are not toxic to bunnies... but that they won't gorge themselves on .... so leaving some nice plants to look at ! Any suggestions appreciated... mainly smaller plants though if poss. Thanks...

I don't have a lot of experience with rabbits, but think the lists generally refer to plants that rabbits won't want to eat a lot of rather than them being necessarily toxic, Max.

There's a lot of info on this site http://www.rabbitrehome.org.uk/bunnycampnews/Newsletter2_04_2004.asp

You can also e-mail them with questions.

Whether you think you can do a thing, or think you cannot, you are right.

I think that you will definitely want to include some rabbit proof plants in the garden rather than all things they will like.  Otherwise your friend won't have much of a garden after they have been munching!
