I believe the majority of my raspberries are suffering from RBDV.  For 2 years the fruits have been not forming properly and fall to pieces when picked.  The leaves are also yellowing.  I have only found information on RBDV on various "commercial" farming websites.

From these I have deduced that there is nothing really that can be done other than replace the affected canes.  Does anyone know what to do and if I do replace the affected canes, can I plant the new ones in the same place as it is a pollen borne virus.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

     Thanks

Cannot rule out virus but most amateur raspberries suffer from other adverse factors (they are not difficult to grow but some garden soils and sites are deeply unsuitable) - there is no indication from your account of the problem as to what other potential causes might be. Boggy
