I don't think it's daft, patiopal, as that's what I use. When we moved here, there was an empty, two room, rabbit hutch and I keep pots and trays in it and use the top for a potting bench. It's just the right height to work at and really handy for keeping a few pots and tools tidy. And it's painted green, so it blends in nicely.

Hope you can find a nice one Smile

Go to Freecycle and post a "Wanted" ad.  Usually works.

Yes, freecycle is a good site, you should be able to find one through there. Let us know how you get on, patiopal!

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it was a valuable plant.

Miranda, did you post a picture there, because I can't see it?  It might be my internet browser though.

Are you using IE, Susan? Pictures here seem to show up better with Firefox for some reason. Anyway, the picture is here: http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg218/Miranda_broughton/garden/courtyard_4.jpg

This time I CAN see the photo!   Weird.  Yes, I'm using Firefox.

And, the photos of your garden look great.

Thanks, Susan. We've only been here a couple of months and the courtyard was bare when we arrived.

What a great idea!  I love recycling, and finding alternative uses for things.  Until recently I kept all my stuff in a large non~working freezer!  Sadly that has rusted now and I must seek out something else, so this has given me some ideas.  Thank you.
