Hi - long term planter first time poster- we moved into our new house two years ago and bought a reasonably healthy specimen - we have green clay sand and all apeared well. We have seen it through two seasons and have seen the minimal growth you would expect with a slow grower (but lots of healthy flowering etc etc.)

Last week all looked well the tree leafed and was going swimmingly - yesterday leaf droop and leaf brittleness.

The tree is properly watered (with an ericaceous feed) and mulched with farm manure to keep down any competitive growth.

    Any suggestions gratefully recieved

    Thanks

Is the soil acid or alkaline?

Do you water with tap water? If so, are you in a hard water area?

Whether you think you can do a thing, or think you cannot, you are right.
