Veg and Laburnum

    Help!  I'm short for space for veg. There's a plot I could use, but it has a laburnum tree close by.  Obviously the seeds and pods need to be avoided, but is it safe to plant near it?  Could the toxins leach into the soil?  Does anyone know for sure?

    It is safe, and ditto yew, cherry laurel, euphorbia, etc, etc Boggy
