Everytime I see someone go into their shed down the allotment site, I'll be expecting them to come out and add something to the compost heap. Whether you think you can do a thing, or think you cannot, you are right.

I then wait until no one is taking much notice and empty it on to the compost heap. I have a water butt near the compost heap so am able to the rinse my bucket to keep it smelling sweet and no one is any the wiser
