My Prairie Fire chilli which is kept on a windowsill has some damage to its leaves.  There are lots of tiny pin *** size holes in the leaves (they look like holes but I can't be sure), but with no visible pests causing the problem.  I haven't looked at the leaves under a magnifying glass, but I am quite sure it is not spider mites as there is no sign of the webbing that I have seen on plants at my parents house, and I have always been able to spot the mites with my naked eye.  The plant has been kept from last year and has started producing chillies again despite the holey leaves.

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing the holes or marks?

And what should I do to get rid of the pest?

I assume from the asterisks that pinprick was typed as two words and the computer thought you were using a naughty wordSmile

I haven't had those size holes in the leaves on my chillies, any holes I have are a bit bigger as we have sparrows going into the greenhouse pecking aphids off the leaves, I think they are making the holes in the leaves at the same time.

Capsid bugs - feed on buds, leaf opens, holes expand, gardener suprised to see lots of holes vaguely symetrical -  seem familiar?
