    Hiya

Can anyone please help, what veggies can I plant in my allotment over the winter? I already have cabbages, brussels, leeks etc.

Having spent the last couple of years clearing the field that was our allotment we would like to be as productive as possible.

     Any suggestions?

    Smile

And if you can provide a cloche - have a go at lettuce and salad leaves.

There are never any problems in gardening - just opportunities!

I grow spinach outside in winter; the leaves bubble like savoy cabbage, but the flavour is better than when grown in summer..

You could, perhaps, also grow some ever-green herbs, like rosemary or parsley.
