The only "moan" I have, year after year, about Chelsea, is the poor display of information about gardens. I have a catalogue in advance, I identify where things are, but when walking around it can be far from clear which garden one is approaching. The signs seem to be designed on the basis of a sparsely-peopled area around (as at judging) not the dense crowds one can get (though things are vastly better over the last few years). The sign showing each garden should be ABOVE head height (the bottom of the sign at 6½ft - visible above a crowd). Awards should be plain from, say, twenty feet away. In crowded areas, it can take two or three minutes to locate the information board. Show gardens may need two such signs, if that is not thought too intrusive
