I planted a few in polystyrene boxes under glass at the end of Feb just to see what happened. 80% germinated and now doing doing very well interestingly. I sowed a row 2 weeks ago on the allotment and they are just beginning to push through under a fleece, although currently sleeting in Hertfordshire so not ideal.
