&lt;p&gt;no, no insects on the leaves although some of the leaves have got small holes in them so it looks like something has nibbled them. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The tree looks in a worse state today, it actually looks dead now.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;and no, i have never pruned it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Any advice please?&lt;/p&gt;
