Yes Sue not many posts until I get to my first 1000 - look out as I am hot on your trail !
The pizza turned out nice and we didn't need anything else with it as it was quite filling-we will definitely be trying that again.OH wiped out the breadmaker and put it straight back on this time making some seeded bread-it will be finished soon. We only make one loaf a week and buy the rest as we would eat too much of it otherwise!

I find the pizza dough done in the breadmaker makes enough for two thin crust pizzas or one thick crust one, if it's just myself and my son here, then I do the thick one and if OH is home, I do two thin ones and we eat the lot but we don't have anything else with it.

Thanks BB, the courier just delivered the casserole-he said that I was lucky to get it as he nearly eat it himself after he tasted a spoonful in the van!

Good mushroom pics Eva they grew well in only a few days. Could you send me a few over by ship then I can have them with BB's beef casserole?

Nice to hear from you Digger! Welcome back. I expect Phoebe is getting bigger now, do you have any more photo's of her?

The casserole is almost ready. I didn't put stout in it Miranda as I don't drink that and didn't have any in the house. I'm sure it would give it a nice rich flavour though. I am making mustard mash to go with it. I have sent some off for you Richard.

The mushrooms are amazing Eva. You have got plenty there!

I'll look forward to reading your new blog later Miranda when I get a bit of peace to read it. We've been clearing out again today and I made a trip up the tip with a car load of old tat, but I still haven't found my camera yet.

OH made a pizza today-she made the base in the breadmaker after I told her that Sue did that. We had enough dough to make two pizzas so one is going in the freezer and we will have that one next week sometime

I was kicking myself Miranda, (and the air was blue too) but then I never even thought to look online before I went, that'll teach me...

I can see Eva's pics, you need to click on where it says 'mushroom lab' to see all the photos and very good looking those mushrooms are.

So I finally get to meet the infamous Digger! Hello there, glad to hear you're on the mend! Your being back seems to have cheered everyone up like a ray of sunshine! Hopefully you'll have the same effect on the weather Digger...

BB and Miranda asked for the shiitake pics, I tried to copy 2 into my previous post but it didn't work, so here's the link to my webpage again: http://evavooijs.spaces.live.com/ --> Photos --> The Mushroom Lab, day 1 and day 5. I don't think I'll have enough self-control to make a picture of the omelet I'm planning to make with them though!

I've seen some comments on risottos and beef stews, I'll post a recipe for ossobuco, the italian version of beef stew, goes well with risotto and its a great opportunity to put in your not so perfect tomatoes!

She's doing really well Digger, and is still looking a bit lopsided where her fur hasn't grown back to full length. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, we should be able to start going back over the park again

I wish I'd known about that website before Richard, I could have got a whole pair of glasses for less than the £65 I paid out this morning just to change the lenses but I'll certainly bookmark it for future reference.

Hi all, It's really good to be back among my friends, I'm not sure what mischief I can get into really? I'm still being chaperoned!! so I'll be limited to what I can do, although i've just eaten half a dozen chocolate biscuits!! they were good i've needed some chocolate for a long time. OH is out at the stables at the moment with Phoebe and Cecil, of course Sally is sat at my side waiting for me to move. Things have lapsed a little in the garden and I daren't go to look at the lottie, I have some clematis in pots that need to go into the clem house, so if I'm okay I will try and do that over the weekend. I've missed all of you whilst I've been away at hospital and I am glad to be back.xxxxxxxxxxx

Good to see you, Digger! Been wondering how you were and it's good to know that you're at home. I bet Phoebe is entertaining - it's good that she's got the other dogs to play with or she'd probably be chewing at things even more! What sort of mischief are you planning?
