I wanted to ask a perfectly innocent question about the dates for Tatton as I have to start planning my summer activities now as they involve various visits to friends and relations as well as our own holiday.

How offensive or dangerous could that be?

Re: Moderated Forums

So discussion of Hampton Court is now "moderated" out of existence.

The RHS has not learned anything from this whole fiasco. And, as we all know, those who do not learn from their past are destined to relive it.

Re: Moderated Forums

A moderated forum requires that the moderator or administrator approves new topics and replies before they appear on the board. Some areas are fully moderated for the reasons outline above. Other areas are moderated so that new topics have to be moderated before going live - this has been done where we want posts to be focussed on the topics shown.

We have set up some areas specifically for public information such as 'The Show Round Up' Information which only the moderator can post to.

Re: Moderated Forums

By the way: This wasn't my first attempt at posting on a Moderated Forum. When we first set up the bulletin board we wanted to ensure that none of the material posted was of a derogatory, abusive, illegal etc nature. As a result, we set up the moderated forums which are moderated by me. Posts can only go live once I accept them as being suitable.

Moderated Forums

What's a "moderated forum" and why can't I post a reply on one?
